Prayers needed for my son

As most of you know, my son Harry came to live with me after my trip to Chicago. Although he is doing better mentally. He has been in alot of pain. We had to wait to get his health insurance back in order to get him to a doctor. Because it is Chrones related, most doctors cannot take care of him.
Bottom line, we took him to the ER today. They are pumping him with meds and such. They did a cat scan and found out the chrones has spread thoughout most of his intestines. They are going to transport him by ambulance tommorow to Ann Arbor where his specialtist is. After they pump him up with enough solution to get his body capable of the move.
I am going to see him at the hosiptal here before he leaves. I will keep you all informed. Please pray for him and my family. This Mom is a mess...

Of course we're praying for Harry. We love him just as we love you.

I saw him today. He has a bactearial infection along with a bad Chrones flair up. As soon as they get rid of the infection there transporting him to AnnArbor...
keep praying I am so very sad...

I will add Harry to my prayers along with my mom who is having surgery on February 12 to remove her cancerous lesion. It is a risky operation due to the prior radiation she had before which involves the bowel tract. I am praying hard for both of them and I hope all who read this will be praying also.

OMG Jodie and CC. You two are definately on my prayer list. A little extra for Harry. Love and Big hugs for both of you.

I hate it too. Lost a few family member to it. It certainly does bite the big one.

The only news I can give you for today is that they finally found a pain pill that works, and he was able to eat some cheezy bread styx and garlic bread styx from lil cezars today. That is a plus. he belives he will finally be shipped to ann arbor tommorow. I am not thrilled about him having to be so far from us, but I also know its the best place for his illness.

he is now on his way to AnnArbor (thank goodness). The doctors here were dribing him nuts. He has been able to hold down a couple of sandwiches which he thought were very yummy lol. If I had not eaten in 4 days they would be yummy to me to.
I did speak to his doctor.. The Chrones was flaied up so bad that it has taken longer then they thought it would for it to heal. Even on a high dose of antibiotics. That is why there sending him to the city.

So far, he's holding his own. He's a tough little scrapper, has a lot of fight and heart like his Mama. Still praying her. Let us know.

Glad to hear Harry is able to keep some food down. I can imagine the stress you must be feeling and I also am praying he gets better. Hang in there!

Well, she is worried about the surgery but hanging in there so to speak. The surgery is on the 12th of this month. I am scared to death because this is going to be risky. Thanks for asking.
