Taylor Hicks to miss tonight's Grease...

I thought I'd bring this over after seeing it, but I do believe it was posted on another site Yesterday, so not sure if Taylor is still ill or if it was just a 24hr bug..



Taylor Hicks to miss tonight's 'Grease' performance at PAC due to illness

If you are a Taylor Hicks fan giddy over the prospects of tonight’s performance of “Grease” at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton, you are about to be very disappointed.

Hicks, the 2006 “American Idol” champ playing Teen Angel in the Broadway touring production, is ill and will not appear in tonight’s show, PAC spokesperson Maria Van Laanen said. The PAC received word this afternoon that Hicks is not yet in Appleton and was advised by a doctor not to travel today. Details of his illness were unknown. The rest of the cast and crew arrived today in preparation for tonight’s opening performance.

“We’re expecting him to be back for the remainder of the performances, but it all depends on how the illness plays out,” Van Laanen said.

“Grease” is scheduled to run through Sunday. There is only limited seats available for the remainder of the run, so Hicks fans may not be able to swap tickets for shows later in the week. Van Laanen said such requests would be handled on a case by case basis.

I also read this on another site and am sure hoping our Tay is feeling much better. It is so un-like him to get sick and miss a performance.

That was my thought CC, He must really be down and ill to miss a show, He's never done that has he? I mean I know most of the time during the AI tour he suffered from throat aliments but still gave it his all. I sure hope he's feeling better...

Poor love - I purely hate when he gets sick.

The same here CC. I read about his illness on another site. Bless his heart. I know he must feel bad for not being there but at least he's taking care of himself so he can come back good as new.
My thoughts and prayers are with him.

Hey kids! I sure hope Taylor is taking care of himself, relaxing, and sleeping. He needs time away to recoup..... sending well wishes his way, and hope for a speedy recovery.

If he were to write another book titled "Cone Ranger Chronicles" I would definately go into debt to buy it. Or maybe, Bill and Tay's Greasy Adventures.
