He's coming home this afternoon. The infection responded well to the IV meds, doc is sending him home on antibiatics (sorry sp!?!?) for 10 days. Go from there.

Thank goodness he's responding well to the meds. It's a good way to start off the new year.

Poor darlin'. That cellulitis is no joke. Here's a home remedy that might help as well.
Go to the vitamin store and buy him vitamin A and Tumeric. Tell him that that is what his body is missing - I have outbreaks every so often myself, and since I've started using them, they've been minor, thank God *knocks on wood*. Tell him to also shower with antibacterial soap, and to use GoldBond (or generic) medicated powder like a dusting powder after. With the antibiotics, this should take care of things for him. That and a few extra prayers can't hurt. I'll toss mine in there for ya, Renee. Tell Mark (is it k or c?) that we're in his corner, okay?

Thanks Tyg, he already uses a powder caled Zsorab. I'll pass on about the vitamin A and Tumeric. The doc said the cellutitis was due to too much of one of his meds, so he cut it in half. That should help. BTW it's with a k.

Zsorab? I'll have my mother look for some of that for me - that sounds lovely. I'm glad you guys are on top of this. Liike I said, it's tough to deal with. And I thought so, but I was afraid I was mistaken.

My Husband 610414 LOL Denise!

Tyg, Walmart around here carries the powder or try your local drugstore too. I've used it at times myself, it works great.
