I just love blueberry anything so that is my choice.

Years ago I went to Lynchberg, Tennessee and went on the Jack Daniels tour. Because it is a dry county at the end of the tour they served us the best lemonade I have ever tasted. Sadly I am having a rough time trying to get my hands on that very product. My question is which of these types of drinks do you like best?

limeade

kool aid

Lemonade would be my first choice of the three mentioned. Love having an ice cold glass on a hot summer day. Soooooo good.

My grandson Jonathan and I went to the movies. Afterwards we went window shopping and I got some ideas for Christmas gifts. Here is my question. What type of shops do you like browsing through?

Gift shops

Book stores

Clothing shops

Gift shops is my first choice as they usually have such unique things.

Winter is certainly upon us. Which of these types of weather do you hate the most?

FOG!! I hated driving in fog when I lived in Michigan. People gets nuts driving in the stuff.

Later this week I'm going out to buy a new desk for my computer to sit on. Here is the question. Where would you look for a nice piece of furniture?

Thrift shops

Discount Stores

I would have to say it is a combination of all three as I have found different types of nice furniture at all three places at different times.

I am going crazy with all the mail I am getting from so many different charities. Of course they all are worthwhile but which of these would be the first place you would contribute to?

animal shelter

cancer research

homeless meals

Every year I collect all my change and give to the Salvation Army while they stand outside stores ringing their little bells. I've given to the Red Cross, homeless shelters, and Casa de las Ninos (House of Babies). So I guess what I'm trying to say here is...it's a three way tie.

My dad and I went to a discount store where I bought my desk and chair (finally). I was extremely happy with the results. Spent less than $100 for both items. Besides furniture what other items would you look for in a discount store?

Bedsheets

Clothing

Bathroom stuff

I would probably look for all these items in that type of store so it's a three-way tie.

As you probably have heard about many of the stores are getting prepared for Black Friday although some are already having lots of sales. Which of these items interest you the most to buy?

cds

I would probably be looking at all three. I'm trying very hard to catch up on my Cd collection (very difficult as there are so many good ones). I'm redoing my wardrobe, getting rid of old stuff I don't wear any more. AND....a grandma can never buy enough toys for the grandkids. LOL

Today I bought a box of cheez-it crackers to munch on. Of these three munchies which one do you like best?

I love all potato chips but I would probably reach for the sour craam and oinon first. Pringles has come out with a new flavor I really really like. Honey mustard. DELICIOUS!

I am cleaning "junk" out of my closet and bedroom. The box will go to the Goodwill down the street from me. Which of these places do you donate your old goods to.

Actually it's another charity. We have a thrift store here called F.I.S.H and also a Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization so I donate my stuff to them. I might add that alot of the donations go for needy families from these two plus if you buy anything from them, they are quite reasonable.

Got a yen for V8 juice this week. If you buy it which of these types do you get?

That's what I liked about Goodwill in the past. When my oldest daughter was in Kindergarten my ex and I were able to buy her three dresses, a winter coat and a fairly new pair of shoes for about $11. Every now and then I go in and find some cute little thing for less than a dollar. These charities are great places to shop.

OMG, I love the V8 Splash drinks. I buy them whenever I can.

I had a yummy salad for dinner last night. Which of these salads do you like?

garden salad

Garden salad tops the list.

Today my mom and I checked out an assisted living place. Side note: My mom has to have eye surgery when she gets back from Switzerland and feels she needs constant care which is why we are looking into them. I have other things going on so can not be there 24/7. Anyhow we had lunch at this place and these were the entrees. Your pick

baked cod with garlic

It's that time of year where I give my spare change to the Salvation Army people who stand outside some of the stores I frequent. What do you do with spare change?

With my spare change during the holidays I too give to the Salvation Army but normally I just save it.

Looking forward to Christmas this year for my grandkids. I am already getting out my holiday decorations. Which of these decorations do you like in a front yard?

LOL...one of my neighbors down the street has inflatable decorations. She can hardly keep the air in them. If she doesn't keep an eye on them they deflate. So, with that said, it's a tie between the spiral tree and christmas lights on the pathway. Speaking of which, there is a section of town called Winter Haven. Every year the neighborhood decorates their homes. People from all over town can walk through and see the beautifully decorated homes or (with a donation to the food bank) you can ride a horse driven wagon. It's absolutely gorgeous.

Which brings me to this question. How do you like seeing the decorations in your neighborhood?

Walking

driving

some other way

Definitely walking. When I lived in California they had something like you described in Huntington Beach. It encompassed about 20 blocks. Just amazing.

Today went shopping at Walmart and picked up an extra toy for my youngest grandson. Not sure my daughter will be thrilled as it will be making noise. Which of these items would get on your nerve after a while.

train set with sound

musical instrument

doll or stuffed animal that talked

OMG...Charlotte has a doll (?), if you want to call it that. It has the weirdest sounding voice. Drives me nuts listening to it. So I guess talking dolls and stuffed animals is my pick.

What's your favorite thanksgiving side dish?

Stuffing all the way followed by the sweet potatoes.

Here are some ways to baste a turkey. Which appeals to your sense of adventure to try.

I usually get the herb seasoned dressing in the box although I sometimes get cornbread. By the way, that basting with whole cranberries and brandy makes the turkey flavorable and tender. I have used it many times but trying something new this year.

I am getting some sparkling drinks tomorrow. Which would be your pick?
