A CHEERFUL HEART

God means for us to experience joy. It is not His
intent that we suffer from ulcers, migraine
headaches, and other stress-related illnesses. Review
with me these scriptures that remind us what God
says about joy.

A merry heart has a continual feast. (Proverbs 15:15)

A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance. (Proverbs 15:13)

God has given to each of us an incomparable
medicine bag - in it is the divinely created ability to
laugh at ourselves, at our circumstances, at humor
produced by others and to take a less threatened
view of everything around us. To utilize the contents
of that bag is to experience healing for our minds,
our souls, and our bodies
