It has now been revealed that Taylor was a true "Romeo" even as a little tyke. He obviously had great taste in "women" back then and knew how to treat them well.
Our sweet Soul Man had a little sweetheart who was in the 4th grade. He asked his Grandmother to buy a silver bracelet (yes, he specified silver) for the special lady in his life and told his Grandmother that she would really like this young woman because she had "dignity".
This beautiful piece of jewelry was carefully wrapped up and presented to this lucky "lady" on Valentine's Day at school.
Now I can't say where this lady is today, but I can divulge that she still has this bracelet and cherishes it. (I will say that she's happily married so there's no chance of a reunion). Her mother and Mrs. Joni are good friends and to this day still laugh about a 4th grader having "dignity" as Taylor proudly spoke of his sweetheart.
This goes to show that even at a young age Taylor displayed class and knew about the fine things in life.
