2009 Taylor Hicks Calendar to Benefit Kid One Transport is Now Available


The 2009 Taylor Hicks calendar "A Year Full of Heart and Soul" is being sold by Kid One Patrol of Soul (KOPS) through the Kid One Transport website. All proceeds will benefit Kid One to help them continue providing the desperately needed service to the children and expectant mothers of Alabama.


Birmingham, AL, October 03, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The 2006 American Idol winner, Taylor Hicks introduced his fans, the Soul Patrol, to the important service Kid One Transport provides for the children and expectant mothers of Alabama. The Soul Patrol gladly took on the cause to support Kid One and pitched in to help create this calendar.

The 12 month wall calendar opens to a perfectly sized 11" x 14" and is filled with amazing full color photos of Taylor Hicks while at concerts, events and special appearances. Soul Patrol members added their own touches with pictures of Meet and Greets with Taylor as well as "Soul Patrol Buddy" shots.

The cost of the calendar is $20.00 per calendar plus a $2.50 shipping and handling fee per order.

Kid One Transport was founded in 1997 for the purpose of providing children and expectant mothers with access to health care services throughout the state of Alabama. They serve the tens of thousands of children and expectant mothers across our state who are considered transportation disadvantaged.

Kid One hopes to, one day, reach all communities with this need by replicating this one of a kind program across the country.

Kid One Patrol of Soul (KOPS) is a group of volunteers who have donated their, time, gifts and talents to raise money, support and awareness for Kid One Transport to help keep the vans on the road, bringing health care to those in need.
