| Your home party sounds like fun. Normally I would probably bring in the New Year with soda although if I am out I might have a sip of Champayne or wine (I really hardly ever drink alcohol).
Today went shopping for Christmas dinner. I am not making alot of things I normally would this year mainly because my daughter and her boys won't eat traditional items. If you were going to eliminate anything, which of these items would be the first to go?
Deviled Eggs
Jello
Salad | |

Ham is the big item on our Christmas menu. Which one is on yours?

| I am sure most would say something electronic as that seems to be the biggy this year but for myself I prefer something practical like money which I got so bought myself a new blanket for my bed. Also saving up to buy myself a new computer next year plus a new mattress for my bed. Both of these items are expensive. The mattress is costing around six or seven hundred dollars because my bed is a dual adjustable bed. I needed this type due to my circulation problems with my legs.
Just bought my daughter some new sheets for her bed. Which of these type of sheets do you like best?
100% cotton
Egyptian cotton (I got this because if feels so good)
Flannel | |

| Usually I save what I can (mostly decorated boxes and bags), the rest I throw away. However this year I threw it all away as my grandsons really tore things up opening their gifts.
I had so much laundry to do after Christmas because of all the new stuff my grandkids got which included clothing and bedding. Which of these fabric softners would you use to make things feel good.

| While this is going to really kill most of my pension I have decided to pay off all my debt. I can hardly believe I have so much but then I look at the fact that alot of my pension has been eaten up by the stock market so might as well become debt free. After that I will only have 3 years of a pension unless the stock market starts building up which I doubt with today's economy. After that I will only have my Social Security to rely on. I am really depressed with this turn of events but whatever will be will be.

It's a tie between the piano and the guitar. Just depends on what kind of mood I'm in.
I've begun organizing my bedroom and other boxes. Throwing stuff out I really, really don't need anymore. If you are cleaning out something what do you tackle first?

Yesterday I finally re-arranged all my Christmas stuff and put it away in my shed (what a job). Now that the holidays are over I am somewhat depressed because of a variety of reasons. So far this year has sucked for me and it is only the 6th day of the new year. On a happier note which of these things do you miss most of the holiday season?
Christmas music
Christmas lights

| Thanks Deni for the prayers. My main depression is losing most of my pension. Then of course at this time of year I miss my hubby so much (keep remembering good times we used to have with the whole family). Hard to believe he has been dead for 8 years but I still miss him so badly. The last piece of depression has to do with my mother. She took a trip to Switzerland to see my brother and was suppose to stay until next March however she has decided to cut her visit short and is actually coming back this week. Don't get me wrong I love my mom but when she is here she is a total handful and I feel like a prisoner in our house because she does not like to be alone and wants to talk for hours on end. I get so frustrated because I do want a life outside of this house. Oh, hell other problems with her are her bad eyesight and I am afraid she might go blind and then I honestly do not know what I will do as I can not be at home 24/7. Most people say put her in a home but my mother's mind is pretty sharp and she will definitely veto that. Sorry did not mean to write a book here but do have alot on my plate.
Now for your question, it kind of depends what I feel in the mood for but overall I would have to say I usually go to Jack In The Box most often.
Got a real deal on chicken tenderloins so baked them yesterday. Which of these methods do you like to use?

| I understand. It's hard on everyone with this economy the way it is. Cracks me up that the media aka newspapers say things are getting better (even if it is slightly). And yet we have companies still down sizing or finding ways of cutting costs. My grandparents passed away 16 years ago and I still miss them so I can kind of relate to how you feel about your husband. I love my mom too but she is seriously getting on my nerves. Since I now have my own computer I can do things with someone looking over my shoulder to see what I'm doing. Now she continuely walks by my bedroom peeking in. Most of the time I'm simply doing some drawing or on the computer (facebook or twitter) Anyway, glad you are back.
Now to your question: I'll call it a three way tie sort of. I say that because I really like chicken bake in a seasoning bad.
Because I ride the city bus around town I tend to get to my appts way too early. Here is my question. If that happened to you how would you use the time?
shopping (if a store were nearby)
