difference

what is the difference between a forum and a blog???
i notice on the ai site they have both.

A blog is more like a diary - one person gives their view and others may comment to it. A forum is more like a community of blogs - where various people can write their thoughts and have responses posted to them. That's what I think, anyway. Anybody else want to take a stab at clearing this question up for me, in case I'm wrong?

I think you've pretty much descirbed it the way I understand it as well, tyg. A blog is a personal thought and a forum lets multiple people express their thoughts and respond accordingly.
