Archuleta's iCarly Gig

Two tween faves unite when American Idol Season 7 finalist- and current chart topper- David Archuleta guests on Miranda Cosgroves's Nickelodeon sitcom iCarly in February.

"We were very excited to get him," executive producer Dan Schneider tells TV Guide. "My wife and I are rabid American Idol fans."

Archies's first nonsinging gig isn't too much of a stretch: He plays himself. But even knowing his character inside and out, he still had stage fright. "I was nervous and thought I'd be awful" Archuleta says. "You need a good memory for the dialogue and I'll have to work at that. But it would be fun to continue acting." Schneider is leaving the door open for a repeat performance: "Whenever you have a celebrity come on you show, it can be wonderful or it can be a nightmare-he was a dream and he's welcome back anytime."
