Compliation CD's of Season 8 - 7/15/09

I thought I posted this info on this site but guess not. Anyway, just wanted to let you know that Wal-Mart has two cds out of songs from our group of this season. The big cd contains the following tracks:

No Boundaries - Kris Allen
Stand By Me - Danny Gokey
I Can't Make You Love Me - Allison Iraheta
Human Nature - Matt Giraud
Mad World - Adam Lambert
She Works Hard For The Money - Kris Allen
I Surrender - Lil Rounds
Just The Way You Are - Scott MacIntyre
You Are Not Alone - Michael Sarver
Walkin After Midnight - Megan Joy Corkrey
Always On My Mind - Anoop Desai
No Boundaries - Adam Lambert

This one cost $10 however the smaller cd only cost $5. Here are the track listings for that one:

Slow Ride - Adam Lambert and Allison Iraheta

I picked up both as I had planned to download several of these songs so this saved me the trouble. They all sound good on these two cds even Megan as I thought she was terrible during most of her performances. Anyway, these cds are only available at Wal-Mart.

I almost brought the ten dollar one when i first found it. I was happy to see it had two Kris Allen songs on it. Then i look closer and it also had two Adam Lambert song. Needless to say with me they lost a sell.
I wonder why they didn't do that for Tay and Kat.

I'm surprised Mae. I thought you liked some of the other contestants this season.

I bought the big one with all the idols on it, It's a real good Cd, I didn't know about the other one. Wonder why they (AI) decided to put out a Cd this season, Season 5 was the last one they did right?

:) That's true Sandi, the last one they did put out was in season 5. Maybe they had an overwhelming request to have one out this year. Anyway I am glad they did as both are awesome!

I do like some of the other contestants. my favorite from the top 13 was Scott MacIntyre. I like some of others also.

However there is no way i going to send $10 for two Adam Lambert songs since he is my worse contestant ever.

Calm down Mae, Adam is what is selling so of course they'll push him, but he is very talened, Kris has 2 songs on one of them as well.. It's all good..

I finally bought my copy of the Cd. I like all the songs with the exception of Megan Corkrey. Her voice simply gets on my nerves. Everytime her song starts I hit the "skip" button. LOL

Don't get me wrong. Danny Gokey is still my #1 favorite but Adam has a new fan in me. I didn't really like him much during American Idol but as I'm listening to this Cd and the other AI Cd I bought....Adam is awesome. His version of Mad World shows off his incredible vocal range.

Besides that....maybe it's because the pressure is off for competing against one another. They all sound so good (except Megan, of course). Even Lil Rounds, who I just didn't like at all the whole time she was on, sounds fantastic.

still don't paying for two AL songs. saving my money for better cds

Whatever.....

Actually, there are better to spend money. I'm still waiting and saving to buy Elliot's new Cd.
