Chris Daughtry

I can not believe it but Chris has done it again by going #1 with his "Leave This Town" album ousting Kelly Clarkson for having back to back #1 albums. She did have 2 go numero uno but not back to back. I thought I would give Chris a chance and listen to the new tracks but they sound just like the first album so once again I am passing on buying it. Plus I have read that all this success is going to Chris's head and even some music critics are finding his attitude over the top which is not a good thing for Chris to be doing in my opinion.

Have to add that also on that 10 ten list is Taylor Swift which I also find crazy as I am not wild about her either. I swear so much of today's music really stinks in my opinion. Even Kelly's latest album was not so good for me personally.

Sure wish good artists like Taylor, Elliott and Ace would get the success they so deserve as all of their music is great in my opinion.

I think Taylor Swift is a cute kid, however i really don't like her music. Nothing wrong with it, it just isn't my style.
I do like one of her songs however, every time i hear it the lyrics make me think of our adorable Taylor.
And speaking of lyrics thank you and i hope more of US plays the name those lyrics game.

hey CC someone else i would add to that list is Josiah and even Brent Keith. The both have mad talent and great music.

I haven't heard Chris D's new songs they are not being played on my radio station anyway, Not to make anyone mad or anything but Chris does have some pretty decent music, I know there is a couple of them I do like, nothing like I thought he'd do from his apperance on Idol..

Taylor Swift I do not see all the hype over, cute kid ya but I don't think she has a great singing voice but my granddaughter loves her.

I also think Taylor Swift is a cute girl. The singing voice doesn't do anything for me though. I think what makes her so popluar is She's another one of those young celebrities the young pre-teens and teenagers can relate to.

Sandi, you could never make us mad. Your entitled to like what you like. I personally just get irritated hearing Chris's voice and sadly the same goes when I hear Taylor Swift and Katy Perry. These 3 just do not connect for me and talk about overkill on the radio which is why I now mostly listen to my cds and tapes.

I know CC, Carrie is another one they seem to play a lot of and I do like her and some of her songs but to hear her all the time gets boring, Now if they'd play Taylor like that I'd be heaven. But I do have his Cd in the player and switch it anytime I want, Shock to me though my oldest granddaughter turned it on the other day and wanted listen to Taylor too, Now tell me did I teach her right or what???

I agree with both of you about all four of these artists. As much as I loved Carrie during season four....yeah....I'm done listening to her. Now they are pimping her as the "richest" Idol to come off the show. Be that as it may....does overkill sound familar???

I can't stomach Katy Perry ever since you been on Idol. That was just stupid and in extremely poor taste. You might has will spit in Kris and Danny faces. Which is basically what she did that was really grossly unfair to both of them. Still Kris won and he did it withouth the help of a slimmy celeb. Go-Kris-Go!!!!!!!
I still can't believe that AI would let her get away with that. IT makes me lost even more respect for them. But when you are the biggest ai baby ever in all of history you and your little frinds can get away with anything.
