Final Judgement, Part 2 - 2/23/12

Hi there! Let me do the happy dance knowing that after all the tears, the frustrations of Hollywood week, the solos and all the group rounds we now have our top 24. Am I happy with the choices, well yes and no I answer. I do not know why but once again I like so many of the male contestants but really do not give much of a hoot for the females of the competition. At this point none of the girls are overwhelming me enough to have me pick up a phone and vote for them although I know they can sing. Maybe as the show goes on I will get interested enough. We shall see.

Now without further ado here are your top 24.

The Girls:

Jen Hirsh, Haley Johnson, Elise Testone, Erika Van Pelt, Baylie Brown, Chelsea Sorrell, Jessica Sanchez, Brielle Von Hugel, Shannon Magrane, Schyler Laine, Hallie Day and Hollie Cavanagh.

The Guys:

Joshua Ledei, Creighton Fraker, Reed Grimm, Heejun Han, Phil Phillips, Colton Dixon, Adam Brock, Jeremy Rosado, Chase Likens, Eben Franckewitz, Deandre Brackensick and Aaron Marcellus.

Next week the real competition starts with the guys singing on Tuesday, the girls on Wednesday and the results show on Thursday. Seems one other lucky guy will be added to the competition. The guys who still have a chance are Jermaine Jones, Johnny Keyser, David Leathers Jr. and believe it or not Richie Law. I personally am hoping Jermaine Jones gets the final spot as I just love his deep voice. Sure wish they had made this a top 36 this year as so many other talents were sent packing.

I'm going to comment here on both nights. My eyesight still isn't quite up to par making it difficult to read the computer screen.

Crystal, like you, most of my favorites are again with the boys. This season and last season the girls just didn't impress me. I do like a few but overall going to be voting for the boys in season 11. I was glad to see that the "cowboy", Rich, didn't make it into the Top 24. It's one thing to be confident in what you do but to be overbearing like he was during Hollywood week was over the top for me.

I was very happy to see several of my favorite boys make it into the Top 24. Plus I saw a few others who caught my attention. We shall see how they do when they sing for America's vote.

also i think they should bring back one girl. i don't know which one however if they bring back a boy why not a girl also?

yes it would be fair - why only a guy? they send away a lot of talent girls also so way not one of them also?
