I never watched 1-4 but have seen 1 & 2 on Idol rewind but I do not care for Fantasia but some say she's great so I'll have to respect their opinion on that.

I really liked the match up between Carrie and Bo only wanted Bo to win, (only watched the last few shows on season 4)

Season 5, I'd have rather seen Elliott in the Final rather than Kat but again I think with Kat there it cemented the win for Taylor, not so sure it would have been that easy with Elliott there.

Season 6, I did like Lakashia and Melinda better than Blake and Jordin but that is just my opinion

Season 7, Heck I still think that David Hernandez should have been in the final, he's a great talent and a heck of a singer and once again just my opinion but I still think it was less than perfect past that got him gone when it did.

Hello all, hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend. Ours was just rainy, rainy, rainy, so did not do much other than go to the casino to lose my money. Now for the question, here goes:

I did not watch Season 1 however I will agree both Kelly Clarkson and Justin Guarini should have been the final two. I own 2 of Kelly's cds and the first one Justin put out and like all of them.

Season 2, I only caught the last three finalists which were Clay Aiken, Ruben Studdard and Kimberley Locke. I was totally for Clay the moment I heard him sing "Unchained Melody". I feel he should have won but do like all 3 of these people and own their music also.

Season 3, I was totally for LaToya London taking the prize with Diana DeGarmo as the second place. Fantasia's only good performance for me was when she sang "Summertime". She did put that on her first cd but this time she was screaming the lyrics and I do not care for someone who is a total screamer. I did not get LaToya's cd but plan to sometime. I do own all of Diana's music and really like her as a singer. Also got George Huff's. Am waiting to get Diana's country cd in the future.

Season 4, definitely Bo should have been there and probably Carrie. I liked everyone in the top 10 and it was a hard choice to choose but I would have loved to see Bo take the win. I so enjoyed that tour when I saw it as everyone was awesome!

Season 5 definitely should have had Taylor and Elliott as the top two. Both are fantastic. I do believe Taylor would have still won. Elliott has shown though that you do not need the stigma of the American Idol to be a success as his cd went gold without their help. My other favorites from that season were Paris, Ace and Mandisa and am slowly getting all their music.

Season 6 should have had Melinda Doolittle and Lakisha Jones as the top two in my opinion. For me they were the best of the top 10 however I also liked Chris Sligh, Phil Stacey and Blake Lewis. I have already bought Blake and Phil's cds but Chris just released one and I will be getting it for sure. Hopefully will also be getting one from Melinda and Lakisha in the future.

Season 7 contained the right top two in my opinion. However I would have loved to see David Hernandez make the top 10 and am hoping that he will be recording. My other favorites of the season were Asiah Epperson, Michael Johns, Carly Smithson and Amanda Overmeyer. I hope to be getting music from all of these people.

The good news is about the show is we have been exposed to so many people who have real talent and isn't it wonderful to have so many choices to choose from.

For me it's this way....

Season Two - Clay of course. Just loved him period.

Season Four - I didn't get to watch very much of this season because of my work schedual so it was a wash.

Season Five - Have to go with CC on this one. It would have been awesome to see Elliot and Taylor as the top two.

I agree, in season 5 it should have been Taylor and Elliott, he was by far the better between he and Kat, And he deserved it much more than Kat did, I still think Taylor would have won, just not by the margin he did, I also think he got more votes because some did not care for Kat, she is a beautiful gal and she had that going for her but her attitude really put a lot of people off.

Okay here's mine. And Mae I completely disagree with your choices. I know big surprise there.

Here's my dream listing.

Season 1-3: didn't watch. Though I might like Clay.

Season 4: Carrie Underwood and Anwar Robinson!!!!! :thumbs: I really liked both. Bo was overrated but not bad. He should've come in 3rd or 4th. I really did not like Anthony Federov and don't see how he made it so far but there's always at least one every season.

Season 5: Taylor Hicks and Chris Daughtry. Though Elliot was really good too. I think that if Chris made the finale it would've been a really good face-off. I was so happy when Taylor won he was my favorite from his audition!!!! Paris was way overrated but she did have a good voice. Better than Kat for sure. Kat has got to be the most overrated contestant on idol EVER!!!!!!!! Everybody if they had two bad or just okay performances in a row they went home. Kat had at least 4 and she still stayed!!!!!!!! I don't like her at all. Not only did she seem like not a nice person but her voice wasn't great, and she was even more boring than Syesha was from this season.

Season 6: Melinda Doolittle and Jordin Sparks would've been my preference but Melinda and Blake would've been good too. Those were the top 3 of the season for sure, I just wish Melinda made the finale. I had no reason to really vote last year but I voted like 6 times for Jordin as I did not want Blake to come out with This Is My Now. My pick for who I didn't like that made it far this year is Sanjaya, Chris Richardson, and Lakisha Jones. I did not get them. Lakisha was like Doolittle except not as good so how she stayed is beyond me. And Sanjaya? ughhh. I did like Phil though, he was growing on me and should've beat out Lakisha.

Season 7: BROOKE WHITE!!!!!!!!!!!!! or not. I would've loved for her to win but in the long run it would've been best for her to come in 3rd I think. But a Brooke White/David Cook finale would've been the best finale ever!!!!!!!!! Either of them making the finale together there was no guarentee who'd win. Seperately either one would've beat whoever was with them hands down. From this season the three I didn't like were Chikezie, Ramiele, and Syesha. Syesha should never have made the top 3. She didn't even show us who she was until the show was almost over. If she did some of that earlier not only would I have remembered who she was but I could've liked her. Not so now, she's made for broadway. Oh and I also really liked Amanda. I was hoping she'd make the tour. She was definitely better than some that made it. *hint...hint...syesha...hint...hint..."
Amanda was my second favorite female of the season. But no one could pass Brooke. She is my favorite artist of all-time!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait for her next cd!!!!! Her pre-idol cd is really good.
