AI Concert - Minneapolis, Mn - The most awesome day ever!!!

Hey guys! It's 3 am and i can't write too much and boy is there a lot to tell!! I call tell you that I absolutely LOVE Carly!!! She is simply amazing!! I found a person who can talk more than I can....Brooke. And the best part ever.....David Cook is my new man !! My friends embarrassed me and told him to kiss me and this is what happened.....

I forgot to add...all the idols i met were the nicest people i've ever met on this planet. It was the most amazing day ever!! We met them before the show and Brooke and Cook talked about us during the concert. We were told that the spotlight was on us each time and a couple other times too!

Brooke was so exceited we were there (we run her official fan club) she told all the idols and they all knew where we were and who we were. And we also had after party passes so got to hang out for over an hour with them after the show!!

I'm on cloud 9 and hope I can get to bed tonight. THere is a long story wiht Cook....what a silly guy LOL

:thumbs: How exciting Angie. Sounds like a wonderful time and sure wish I could have been there. I think David Cook is "da bomb" also. Carly was my favorite girl during the show. I plan to buy lots of music from different people from this season.

It was amazing. I don't know where to begin!! I could write pages on what happened yesterday! So I'll start from the beginning I guess. And add a few pictures here and there. I have to also say that now that the show is over I love them all. I'll give a concert recap later. They are the sweetest bunch of people i've ever met!!

So I got to the venue about noonish. they have barriers up for us to line up cause the idols come out before 330 to meet the fans. I got there just in time cause about 30 minutes after I got there they started filtering out.

First I have to say that me and 3 friends run Brooke's official fanclub so we had an agenda and knew we'd be geting after party passes but i still wanted to meet these guys just in case they didn't make the party as they were leaving at midnight for the next city. The first one out was David Cook. He started at the other end and took forever to get to me so I'll get to him later. I've never mentioned I have the biggest crush on that man and was nervous to meet him. David Archuleta came out next and started at our end so he was the first one I met. I never liked him much on the show even though he had a great voice. But the kid is sweet at can be. He took the time to talk to everyone and take load of pictures. He's just a goofy kid and doesn't stop smiling. What a nice guy!! I think he was sick though. During his set he kept turning his head from the mic and coughing. Such sadness :(

So next to come on by was Jason. Jason is slow. He seemed to have the most fans out there....almost as many if not more than Archie and Cook. He's so laid back. And I'm like 'dude' LOL He's cool. I didn't talk to him too much but he was cool




Kristy was next. She wasn't really talking and she was moving so very fast. She signed autographs and took pictures and talked a little, but she was on vocal rest. Not much interaction with her. I can say that she is so so pretty in person.

Wow this is amazing! Archie I didnt care for either but yes he is an adorable kid. Jason Ak never did and never will like him. He reminds me of back in the 70's when everyone was stoned lol

I'm working on it! I have over 200 photos and the ones i'm posting i have to resize first. So much to do. I have about a million of David Cook. Did I mention i love him? My friends embarassed me and told me I liked him and embarassed me some more. They pushed me to him, but more details later. I just can't stop being so excited.

It's amazing how I now love Carly more and Cook and Brooke is so so sweet. But in concert I don't remember Ramiele's set or syesha's and during archie's I wasn't really paying attention. Jason was about the same. He's cool. and funny.
Oh...and archie's dad was there supervising or something.

I could talk for hours about the 12 hours I spent near teh idols. So. Amazing!!

Absolutely amazing! lol I'm coming soon with more recap and pictures. So much went on yesterday and the encounter with DC I hope I remember it all. I knwo i was embarassed and so was he. Such fun though !!

Glad you had such a great time. Minneapolis is only about 220 miles from me and I would have even thought of going over there only if David H had been there... I bet it was a time you'll never forget huh? Congrats...

I know he didn't make the top 24, but did you ever had a chance to meet Josiah Leming?? His music is awesome, He is my second favorite contestant next only to Taylor Hicks. I even put his music on myspace. His cd is do out mid-October, thanks to Warner Bros. that knows talent when they heard it. Anyway i am a LemingHead and i was wondering in all of your meeting season 7 contestants did you ever meet Josiah?

No I did not meet Josiah. Only 8 of the Top 10.

And I lied. I never came back last night with my story. Hopefully later in life I will LOL Seriously though I will within the next day or two. I'm still happy as a clam but also sad at the same time cause I didn't want the night to end.

Hey Ang! Write when you can. Do like I do. Start writing it and then save and add later.. then when your done post it. You might want to do this anyway for your own recap :)

I seem to recall a few times in my life where I wanted to suspend time, too.

I do need to tell you one thing I found out today that made me really excited!!

My friends went to the show in Green Bay on 9/3 and I couldn't go with them. I was sad. But when I finally talked to them today Carly asked why I wasn't there! And Jason said...where's the rest of ya.

Okay...that just made me so happy to know that Carly wondered where I was. I love Carly.

My friends are going to the IN show on 9/10 and have a plan to embarrass me even though i'm not there. I think they're going to bug DC again. Poor guy. I guess cause they didn't get the change in Green Bay the other day cause he wasn't at the after party.
