Guide to Being a Hicks Chicks:

This has been around awhile. I still love it though:
You know...it starts with a "he's really talented". Then to a "oh em gee....he's awesome!" then to a "HOLY OBSCENITIES HE'S SEXY!" You never know when you are becoming a "Hicks Chick". It just...happens. Here's what you must do to ensure your safety while enjoying the life of being a "Hicks Chick".

1*Always take some sort of cushion with you, incase of a sudden *THUD*.(see taylor vocabulary)

2*Dont you EVER EVER EVER underestimate the power of an angry Hicks Chick. It can, and will, get ugly.

3*If someone DOES insult Taylor, don't go off on a rampage. Would Taylor want you to go to jail for assault? Don't think so. "
4*Always help a fellow Soul Patroller in need. In a true southern manner. "
5*REMEMBER: SOUL CONROL! (see vocabulary)

HERE IS SOME IMPORTANT VOCABULARY EVERY HICKS CHICK NEEDS TO KNOW IN ORDER TO BE APART OF THE SOUL PATROL!

Starting with...soul patrol. lol

soul patrol n. Taylor Hicks' loyal fans and devotees. Can usually be seen thudding, "woooooo-ing", OR doing the TAYLOR LEAN.

Hicks Chicks n. Girls(and waldo!) who want to marry and/or be with Taylor for a long period of time and cook him turnip greens for supper everynight, clean his harmonica and take good care of his/her man if he's in need. Usually seen thudding more often than regular soul patrol members.

THUD v. n. a THUD is a sudden reaction to a sexy and/or hot photo or video of Taylor. Always bring cushion for sudden THUDing.

beTHUD v. n. a BEYOND THUD....made up by Soul Patrollers on the American Idol boards. CAUTION: BEYOND THUDs CAN BE POTENTAILLY DANGEROUS! If you feel like you are about to beTHUD..tell a friend to fetch you some water, a pillow and a mini-fan.

WOO! an expression used by Taylor, Soul Patrollers and Hicks Chicks when Taylor does something extraordinary, like break dance, sing, play guitar, play harmonica, breathe...etc.

SOUL CONTROL n. used by Taylor when Toni Braxton tried to rub up on him during the AI finale. Soul Control must be used when a non-Soul Patroller insults Taylor, or when a Hicks Chick gets too snug with Taylor.
Taylor Lean v. n. A simple lean with a smile and WOO. Taylor is usually seen doing this after good feedback or a WOO from his Soul Patrol. It's kinda like a SHOULDER LEAN meets LEAN WITH IT ROCK WITH IT. Only you have to do to it in a "funky white person" kinda attitude.

Taylorgasim is completely different from a *THUD*, Taylorgasim refers to the feeling of pure ecstasy gotten when a Hicks Chic/ Soul Patrol Member has experienced a sighting, smelling, hearing or touch of/from Taylor.~ whether this experience be real, fantasy, or for some and or most in our sweet and Precious dreams.~ Taylorgasims may also require the use of a pillow or soft cushion, possibly a significant other may be required for some support.
