:chimney: Hey gang, thought I would give you the latest on some of our idols who are celebrating this wondrous season.
Season 6's Phil Stacey is featured on the cd "Coolside of Yuletide". The song is called "How Many Angels" which he performs with the Young People's Chorus out of New York. Check out their website for further details.
Jon Peter Lewis of Season 3 is kicking off a night of music to benefit the annual "Rock 4 Food" event that takes donations of clothing, blankets and food for the homeless. If you donate you get a break on the concert ticket. The event will take place at the legendary "Mint Club" in Los Angeles, California.
David Cook is set to perform at "The Mirage" in Las Vegas as part of the annual program to ring in the New Year on Fox T.V.
More on Phil Stacey. He and Season 2 finalist Josh Gracin are teaming up for an event called "Go Country" on 105 FM in L.A.'s Santa Clarita Valley. This is an acoustic holiday concert. Check out the AI site for more info.
Ramiele Malubay of Season 7 has released an R&B holiday song called "We Are One (This Christmas)". You can hear it on her website and order it through the AI site as well.
Jason Castro also of Season 7 will be performing with the legendary Patti LaBelle for "An American Christmas" at the Special Events Center Arena in Garland, Texas. Check out that center for details.
Season 6 finalist Melinda Doolittle is currently touring with Michael W. Smith for the holiday magic of "It's A Wonderful Christmas". It started Dec. 2nd and will end Dec. 19th. Keep in mind, Melinda will also have a debut cd coming out in February.
Amanda Overmyer of Season 7 will release her debut cd at the end of December. The cd is called "Solidify" so check out her website for details.

Belated happy birthday wishes go to Brandon Rogers who turned 30 years old on Dec. 11th. He has a single out called "Broken". You can view the video on the AI site and also order it from Brandon's MySpace page. He is working on some new music. Happy Birthday Brandon!
Season 5's Chris Daughtry has something more to celebrate besides him AMA awards. He will be performing at the 44th Inaugural Ball for President-elect Barack Obama on Jan. 21st. Way to go Chris.
