He grew on me too. I never liked him as much during the season. I always thought he was talented but he wasn't my favorite. I never went nuts over him like I have with Taylor. Dave's pre-Idol music is amazing too. He's more rock so if you're not into rock you're obviously not going to like it. lol

But anyways I think David will do really well. I expect him to possibly do the best of any idol to date... yep even surpass Carrie Underwood in success. I guess we will wait and see but I do think he is extremely talented :)

she is another one i really don't get, though she does have some good songs. My favorite of hers is 'Don't Forget to Remember Me.'

I liked Carrie when she was on Idol but lately when I see her on TV she looks somewhat unhappy. IDK, maybe it's just me.

I think Dave will do really well for himself. He just may surpass Carrie but at this point it's hard to tell. he's selling well right now and should have a platinum record soon :)
IMO It all depends if he can get past the Idol title and gain some rock fans. Right now he kind of had to please the idol audience and management and himself so i think he found a good balance. I'm really anxious to hear what he does when he's not under their management.

Personally with AI getting such a bad rep these days I think it is going to be hard for anyone to over come that title. I honestly think the only one thus far who has been able to do so is Carrie. Because she went the country rote and there much differant in acceptance then the other phases of music..

though i think the best singer that came out of AI is Bucky Covington.

Buckey is great, I love Bucket. BUT Carrie as Simon would say.. has the "IT" factor.

Carrie definitely has 'IT' I've grown to like her so much!

she certainly has a voice to go with the looks. She's a very pretty lady.

i have both hers and Bucky cd, and Bucky has a lot better cd. Carrie is a good singer and has some good songs, however Bucky is a better singer and all the songs on his cd is great.
